Networks and Partners
Prestolee is proud to have helped create and now lead the Greater Manchester Learning Partnership. GMLP was formed after the Manchester Challenge came to end. It works across Greater Manchester to help provide a support platform to bring various parts of the system together and create networks of practice and school led activity.
It has an independent Chari, Margaret Woodhouse and executive group made up of a diverse range of education leaders in the GM area.
Kickstart is a family-run business, established in 2016 by now husband-and-wife Dean and Rebecca. Kickstart is a community-driven social enterprise passionate about the education and lifelong learning of children. Our mission is to ensure that the local areas & families we serve benefit from our presence as a valued community, childcare and education partner. Our approach is to work with parents, carers, schools and other key organisations to ensure that every child is at the heart of all decision-making.
We strongly believe that all individuals have a right to receive a first-class education and that children can easily access nurturing childcare which provides a home-from-home environment, so parents and carers can rest easy that their children are in safe hands. Kickstart facilitates great opportunities and high-quality provisions, delivered by highly skilled and committed staff which allows children the very best chance to succeed and shape their own future. We work in partnership with schools, organisations and local communities across Greater Manchester to deliver PE, curriculum development, sports clubs, lunchtime provision, wraparound childcare and early intervention services.
Kickstart continues to grow through developing strong partnerships with schools and other organisations and our staff’s dedication to deliver a service above and beyond expectation.
