Tottington Primary School
Tottington Primary School is a large primary school in the village of Tottington, a small village on the Bury/Bolton border. The school caters for children aged 4 to 11 years and is set in large grounds on Moorside Road. In addition to its 45 cohort intake, the school is proud to have a resourced provision for physically disabled pupils. This means we have the facilities to accommodate ten children inclusively in our mainstream classes and are equipped with disabled facilities and a physiotherapy room.
At Tottington we believe that every staff member, pupil, parent and visitor should always aim high; to be the best they can be. We encourage this through our positive outlook and the friendly and warm atmosphere that is the hallmark of this family school.
Our last full Ofsted inspection graded the school as good with outstanding features and a recent monitoring visit confirmed the excellent progress this school continues to make. Underpinning our success is the high quality relationships between staff and children.
We strongly believe that children learn best when they feel safe and are happy. Everyone involved in this school is proud of our journey and standards and we are all relentlessly focused on making sure children are safe, love learning and fulfill their potential.
We also have on site:
- Totts our fantastic Nursery, which caters for children from 3 years old
- Super Ts our before and after school childcare club.
