Barton Moss Community Primary School

Barton Moss Community Primary School joined Prestolee Multi Academy Trust in September 2017.

Barton Moss is a vibrant community school which serves the close knit community surrounding it. The school is situated in an area of natural beauty, surrounded by woodland and plenty of space for our children to play in. We are privileged to have a large playground with an adventure trail, an eco garden, including our own vegetable allotment and fruit trees, a full sized football pitch and a separate area for your Early Years children to play in.

But even more important than our surroundings are our children and our wider community. As a Salford resident myself for the past thirteen years whose children went to local schools, I understand the importance of working together to ensure that we provide the best education and school experience for our children. Our local community, including parents, governors, and members of the housing association, the police, youth service and neighbouring schools, work together to find ways to serve our community better.

All the staff at Barton Moss are completely committed to giving our children the best start in life: the best start academically and the best start emotionally and socially. We are happy to listen to suggestions from any member of our community which will help us to do just that.

Welcome to our website, we hope you find it informative.
